Well, I'm starting to get into photography. I'm taking a class at the local photo shop every Thursday for an hour and a half. Learning the basics, like shutter speeds, aperture, depth of field, and composition. Pretty interesting stuff, and should definetly get me started on taking some better pictures.

I'm also starting to put myself through flight school. I've wanted to fly since I was in 3rd grade, so this is very exciting for me. Quite a bit of money though! I'm gonna fly a bit before I take the next groundschool class, which is in November or December. My plan is to read the book that they use in the groundschool class, and fly a little, so that when I do get to groundschool I will be a little ahead of the game. Especially since it will be during school, I really won't have too much time to be reading a massive book in addition to homework, chores, and school. I'm so excited though!

I also just had some surgery done. It was on my toe. I had and ingrown toenail, again. I've had it quite a few times in my life. The doctor kept just trimming it down and trimming it down. Finally, I just decided to do the major procedure. This is the one where you go to the hospital, and they remove part of the nail matrix so that a certain part of the nail can never grow back. So, now I'll never have to deal with another ingrown toenail for the rest of my life! But, it hurts really bad. The bandage wrappying my toe right now keeps rubbing the stitches back and forth, every time I move my foot. I have to keep ice on it too, to keep the swelling down. And ofcourse it has to be elevated as much as possible. Really kinda sucks, but hey, I'll never have to do it again, so I guess I can't complain!
